Edward R. Garibian, CEO
Edward founded Applied Software Technologies in 1989 to provide premium information technology services to small to medium sized companies. Since then, Ed has steered the company through nearly 15 years of change in information technology.

Ed has been an active West Springfield Rotary Club member since 1998 and served as Rotary President in 2001-02. He serves on the Board of the Children's Study Home, a community support services organization founded in 1865. Ed is also an active member of the Pioneer Valley Entrepreneur's Group and of SBANE, the Small Business Association of New England.

Prior to founding Applied Software, Ed held product-marketing positions at Analog Devices in Norwood, Massachusetts in the area of high-speed microprocessors. He also held engineering positions at Texas Instruments in Dallas and at Data General in Westboro, Massachusetts. Ed holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Doug Ansuini, Senior Applications Developer and Group Leader
Doug joined Applied Software in 1994 and currently leads the Company's programming staff. Doug's innovative energy, his understanding of real business problems, and his passion for code have been a driving force in the Company's application development achievements. Doug began his programming career at Nyman Manufacturing in Providence, Rhode Island where he served as an Industrial Engineer. Doug holds a BS from the School of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at Cornell University and an MS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

David Mekalian, Senior Engineer and Group Leader
David joined Applied Software in 1993 and quickly took an active role in leading the company's systems projects. David's customer focus, his deep understanding of systems architecture, and his unafraid approach to finding solutions have helped foster the Applied Software culture that is at the heart of Company's success. Prior to joining Applied Software, David served as a Manager of Technical Services for Computer Support Associates in Canton, Connecticut and as Regional Marketing Director for Olan Mills in Chattanooga, Tennessee. David holds a BA in Business Administration from New York University.

Sarkis K. Garibian, Vice President
Sarkis joined Applied Software in 1992. Recognizing the need for seasoned information systems and consulting services, Sarkis spearheaded the technical services group. As an officer of Applied Software, Sarkis has over 30 years of experience in process automation and corporate VAX and pc-based information systems management. Prior to joining Applied Software, Sarkis held management positions at Monsanto Chemical Company in Springfield, Massachusetts. Sarkis hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology and an MS in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
