Our History

Applied Software Technologies was founded in 1989 by Edward Garibian. At 29 years old, Ed left his product marketing position at Analog Devices and opened shop in his parents' basement. Soon after, Ed wrote his first sales proposal and installed the company's first network. Within a year, the company moved to its first location in Springfield, Massachusetts and hired a technical staff.

Over twenty years later, Applied Software is still building networked systems, relying on its core capabilities - the ability to design, implement, and customize sophisticated networked systems. The company serves businesses and organizations throughout New England and New York in a variety of industries including legal, professional and financial services, non-profit, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate investment, education and more.
